I've seen many, many Bathurst 1000 races, but never have I seen a race end with impenetrable cloud over the top of the Mountain. Congratulations Erebus Racing and Matthew Payne. An extraordinary display of the drivers skill.

It's an extraordinary place both to visit and to drive. Probably the single most challenging racetrack on the planet. Most of the corners are blind, the drivers do it by muscle memory

I've lost interest in the supercars championship because all the cars are the same under the skin. I still love watching the round at Mt Panorama because it's a real challenge. Yes it's a motor race but what the Mountain throws no other track can provide. It's a drivers track. Only real drivers win
