I’m aware Genndy Tartakovsky’s #Primal trailer is out now, but during the #NYCC panel where we weren’t allowed to snap photos, I tried to quickly copy sketch the presented production art. No one can claim I’m violating anything when I’m such a terrible drawer.

Oh hey, correction on my part, I often assumed #TheAmazingAdventuresOfKavalierandClay opera was NOT going to be live-captured like many Metropolitan productions. As I found out from this, it doesn't have a Live in Transmission, BUT it's been videorecorded to be released to theaters on Jan 24, 2026.

The atmosphere got uncomfortable. Genndy went into the basics about the "tool vs "something else" debate. One person even shouted, "Don't help her," in a manner that suggested he did not want Genndy to encourage it. #NYCC

Man, last time I was at a Genndy Tartakovsky #PRIMAL #NYCC panel, I ran into Genndy’s brother.

I also recall a quote from Genndy when he watched PRIMAL with an executive who was eating a pizza. But when PRIMAL played, he left the pizza untouched throughout the entire runtime.
