It’s so strange that the channel which was hip and cool for so long became a dinosaur of the new media age. Everyone just stopped watching it or caring about it. And if you did watch it it was like going into a Sears.

MTV going away in the UK and probably here in the states at some point isn’t shocking as my kids don’t watch it or know what it is. MTV made itself irrelevant when it could’ve changed and become what YouTube is now for watching music videos.

Even when we had cable we could still call up shows for them so they don’t understand time slots for tv shows.

They’ve got their own things now like Phineas and Ferb. When the were little it was Chuck the truck, Dora, Paw Patrol and Wild Kratts. I’ve shown them He-Man and that was called cringe.
