Country Bumpkin to Swordsmaster is the only thing recent that sorta comes to mind and even that doesn't quite fit what it sounds like you're after.
The main protag specializes in atleast semi grounded traditional western swordsmanship but the rest of the setting dabbles in magic.

Anyone else got that hyper/disproportionate tf/expansion itch?

Something like a taur looking down at an enormous lower body or paw or a hyper looking out at an expanse of of their own anatomy in disbelief and just going:

"Wait, that's me? ALL of this is me?"

Found it, "aptophillia", the affinity for the utility/inconvenience of unique bodies/anatomy.

I think there was a term going around for this, apothelia? Living in a world not designed for a body type or relearning how to do things with new anatomy.
