In a delightful twist, Tap & Go here is for Merseyrail trains only, although Arriva buses allow you to tap and go in their own scheme calls Tap & Go. I foresee no problems here at all.

I resisted a Metro Card for a long time but finally Tap & Go converted me. Mainly because I got sick of turning up at ticket offices to find the staff on a break and “buy at your destination”.
