The problem is that there is basically no new infrastructure necessary. All the basic stuff is available as farm equipment.
Ecococom is afaik independent of the bsle format e.g. so that is not a bottle neck either.

The 1st #strawhouse in Europe was renovated after ~100 years. I asked the cncp-feuillette.fr about problems with the renovation for a lecture:
"We didn't need to carry out any major renovations, just plastering and limewash paint, because it was in very good condition."

I once calculated on a napkin that we could upgrade approximately 50 billion square meters with the global straw amount. In passive house quality. Just with what already exists. Every year.

Remember that there are 2.2 Million people working in construction (+materials) related fields in Germany and most are currently NOT part of any solution to the real problems we face.

German government still thinks it can boost construction #Bauturbo without changing its approach to building #Bauwende. What WE will continue is land speculation, high rents, sprawl, = drastic climate change, species extinction, frustration = MAGA. Thx for nothing.

In Germany we use straw usly not load bearing so we want a density of 85-115kg/m3 with +10% installed. Typically ~100kg/m3.
Load bearing you need more raw density >>130kg/m3 . Since the window frames float you want to reach end compression via roof weight (or straps) e.g. to close the gap.

Oil & gas profits were much higher than in previous years: $916 billion for listed firms worldwide.

That was a huge windfall for shareholders: U.S. beneficiaries held claims to $301bn—one third of the listed total.

For comparison, total 2022 U.S. low-carbon energy investment was $266 billion. 3/
