Houston’s path to the Big 12 Championship is complex since they don’t play either BYU nor Cincinnati and they lost to Texas Tech. But winning out would almost certainly have to be part of the equation.
Probably should have just called offsides on the kid instead.
With ASU losing to Houston, Texas Tech controls its own destiny as it relates to the Big 12 Championships. If Tech wins out, they will be in Arlington.
ASU turns the ball over on downs and unless my math is wrong, Houston can just do the victory formation here.
Houston DB drops the hammer on the ASU WR going across the middle with game on the line. Being reviewed for targeting but I don’t see anything there.
By getting “effed by the refs” do you mean the refs aren’t picking up flags when there was an infraction committed or …
So you’re saying the Big 12 isn’t as good but dominated the ACC head to head? The ACC’s only win over the Big 12 was GT over Colorado.
I hope ASU gets fined $100k for bottles being thrown on the field.
The Big 12 went what? 7-1 against the ACC in non-conference games this year?
With loses today, both Oklahoma State and West Virginia have been eliminated from reaching the Big 12 Football Championship game.
Arizona State is living dangerously. In the last 6 quarters they have 6 fumbles but only lost 1… Things tend to regress to mean and if/when they do, ASU could be in trouble.
Texas Tech gets the shutout 42-0 over Oklahoma State. The Red Raiders did not get any help in the Big 12 Championship race but they held serve at home.
Is Dave Aranda on the hot seat? Should he be?
Texas Tech has brought in the backups with this one seemingly under control late in the 3rd.
Griffis on the QB keeper goes 2 yards untouched for another Texas Tech touchdown. Red Raiders lead 42-0 with 3:17 left in the 3rd.
And Tech fumbles on the ensuing play. Just an all around sloppy game from the Red Raiders today.
The Texas Tech defense forces and recovers another fumble.
Griffis to Douglas for 42 yards and a beautiful touchdown. Texas Tech now leads 35-0 over Oklahoma State in the 3rd.
Hammond is out for the rest of today’s game for Texas Tech with an apparent ankle injury. Morton has changed into his uniform and presumably will serve as the back up for the rest of this game.
Texas Tech takes a 28-0 lead into the the half but if I’m being honest, this team looks lost and uninterested today. The only reason the Red Raiders have a lead is because Oklahoma State has quit as a team.
Griffis is in at QB for Texas Tech. I didn’t see an injury to Hammond but he wasn’t really sharp either… The only thing that is clear is that Texas Tech needs Morton back at QB1.
Rodriguez just takes the ball away from the OSU RB and races to house for the defensive score. Just a bizarre looking play as it wasn’t a “fumble” per se… JRod just ripped it away… Tech now leads 28-0.
The Texas Tech offense does not look sharp today.
