How lucky are we to live in a world with colorful peppers, cheese, onions, sweet tomatoes, cheese, avocados, broccoli, blueberries, cheese, sweet potatoes, mandarin oranges, coffee, strawberries, and cheese?

Most fortunate, indeed.

Time to make an omelette.

Chopped broccoli, peppers, onion, sliced avocado, shredded cheese, small tomatoes, eggs, and a mug of coffee. Fueling up for a busy day ahead.

Love The Office (both English and American) and I've caught most of Arrested Development. Never watched Deadwood.

But another odd, old comfort series is Deadwind, a Finnish show.

It was a challenging week physically, mentally, and especially emotionally. I needed my comfort show tonight, and a favorite song played.

I think it might have hurt more than healed this time, but I'll get there. Eventually.

It's so cute. When I was little, my grandma had a chalkboard in her bathroom for us to draw on and I used to draw Snoopy all the time.

How interesting! It takes a great deal of practice and patience to do that. Also, I've never been to MA. Salem looks beautiful and holds so much history. I love old cities with brick buildings. I'd like to go there someday.

Don't make it a one-time thing. Make an effort to connect with your love regularly, whatever the means, and she will do even more.

I'm glad you guys are okay.

Capital Reef is beautiful, and I imagine even more so this time of year. I will cross my fingers that any rain hits Mesquite and maybe St Geo, but nothing else. Or at least no flooding. Especially if you're camping.

We had a brief downpour (normal here) but we can still smell the rain. It's a healing and relaxing scent. Multiple friends said SLC got hit hard last weekend and my colleague was there and was lucky enough to experience snow (and then drive down to the desert). I hope you guys are okay.

I love all the rain showers coming in. We love to step outside and feel the rain, open our windows to breathe it in, and listen to the sound of the rain tapping on everything outside and the cars splashing through puddles. It makes both of us smile.

What a lovely way to end a challenging day. 💙
