SAD HILL UNEARTHED was about the efforts to restore the iconic cemetery from the climax of THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY. I saw it early enough that I could contribute to those efforts and was rewarded with my own grave marker at this historical cinematic shrine, seen in the background

One of my favorite movie tropes is whether in the Old West or in Victorian England if someone is sentenced to death, the condemned has to await the building of a gallows as if hangings weren’t commonplace occurrences. Are we to believe that they build a gallows, hang a person and then break it down?

My biggest complaint about it is that it is shot so darkly - so many scenes were so poorly lit

I wish they had the character FBI agent Pendergast in it but that would have made the movie much longer
