"I know I made a lot of money throwing the community under the bus, and I'm not recanting any of the things I said because my Well-Reasoned Centrism was obviously always correct, but I'm starting to feel personally threatened so I'd like some meat shields between me and the Nazis I enabled." 🙄

Source familiar with MasterCard‘s internal workings: The company finds the censorship focus from consumers “profoundly irritating“ amid larger political issues — they want the controversy around paypros censorship to quietly disappear
The "don't wanna reward WOTC for the extreme proliferation of UB" in me is warring with "the card is, mechanically, EXACTLY up my alley for a mono-U commander".

I think the tiebreaker is "not a fan of the expansion symbol" but it was a fight for sure.

I found my new favorite brush to use on just about everything ;u;
Arc Raiders is -exactly- the kind of game I'd put 1000 hours into, and they had to go and ruin it with GenAI voices.

How does a studio care enough about their game's quality to make custom live recordings all the way down to raindrops and insects, and then get too stingy to pay voice actors??
Board game: Gravwell! Love teaching it to new players, it's shockingly simple to learn. Fox in the Forest is a close second.

Audio drama: Wolf 359 probably, though I'm getting hooked on The Silt Verses.

Crafts: Chainmail! I make jewelry. 🥰

RPG system: I wanna play more Thirsty Sword Lesbians!!
I think I'm still pingable on... -Maybe- double digit discord servers? Certainly at least 7 or 8, and I get actively pinged on at least 3 of them regularly. My favorite was getting pulled into a livestream to explain priority and responding to/interrupting loops, once. That was neat. 💜
Hi hello I'm mostly out of the game at this stage... But for most of the last decade I was one of the foremost judge mentors and rules experts in the US-Midatlantic!

Few things make me happier than teaching rules and policy, especially fielding "hey I have a question..?" from new players or judges.
Seriously.

"What do you know about her?" "Not much, only her name, height, weight, blood type, planet of origin, super powers, current address, relationship, favorite coffee order..."

Does Batman need to know how many pairs of mismatched socks are in a person's dresser before he's satisfied?
Very close runner-up, I want my gadgets to be dumb again. I don't wanna sign into my TV, I don't want my fridge to connect to the internet, I don't want my printer to recommend stores to buy ink refills.

I want each of my gadgets to do exactly one thing, to do it well, and to do NOTHING ELSE.
AUX PORTS!!! Holy shit, can we PLEASE stop removing aux ports from audio devices???

8 years ago when I was first learning electric viola, I bought a dinky portable speaker that hooks on a belt loop. It's become irreplaceable because EVERY speaker its size is bluetooth-only.
i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?
Oh hey I just realized I never shared my updated queer credentials with y'all. Also got a new side shave, but don't have any good photos showing it off yet.

I'm debating doing more with it, but for now just the underlayer has been a fun look. 💕
God, In Stars and Time messed me up in the BEST way. 💜 I spent the entire last two hours of my playthrough sobbing.
C with a big lead for great readability and a fitting style. Runner-up A because it's compact without sacrificing too much readability. Not big on the styles of B or D.
In case Magical Girl monster-ification is a vibe you'd enjoy, Thundamoo's "Magical Girl, Mechanical Heart" has a girl whose arms split in three.

Oh and the main character is soulbound to a robot body and enslaved to the queen evil magical girl. That might help.
But end of the day, it's impossible to satisfy everybody. If someone I play with feels VERY strongly that a card in my deck isn't fun, I'll consider not casting it against them. But if it's a card I enjoy and it doesn't -generally- get negative feedback? I won't cut it on one person's say-so.
There are a handful of cards that made the cut even if they're not as fun on repeats... But I try not to include cards that I wouldn't find fun played against me, and I -definitely- don't include cards that I don't find to be fun ways to win (or cut them after a game where they left me unsatisfied).
I only have one active deck at the moment, bracket 2, and a good number of decisions were based on "am I going to enjoy playing this card/winning games this way?" "... even the third, or tenth, or twentieth time?" and "if somebody ELSE played this against me/won this way, would I be having fun?"

This is not a massive decision or any kind of change. Costco has never carried mifepristone in its pharmacies. An anti-abortion group is taking credit for something that didn't happen, possibly to generate disingenuous left-wing ire against one of the few corporations that hasn't gone MAGA.
I've made -thousands- of buttons on home presses. Never owned the equipment for it myself... But I'd be more than happy to contribute my time with a borrowed/rented machine, especially if TOs are onboard with the plan.
Appreciate the confirmation, thanks!

This seems low priority, but is there value in the rules team taking a look at this, so we have something to point to in the CR? Right now, cases 1 and 2 are consistent but only have plain English/Gatherer ruling support, and case 3 has fully undefined behavior.
I haven't found a citation to cover it yet.

Even cases 1 and 2, where the criteria tests against the full set of targets instead of each target individually - which just to clarify, behaves that way because of the word "total", yeah? - don't seem to have a firm CR source, only Gatherer rulings.
