Rough start to the day. The textbook link provided by school for my law class suddenly went 404 on the website where the book is. When I search for it via my account there, it says title not found. I literally have an assignment due this week that I need the book for!!

Sad day for me. Realized today that I need to avoid all leafy-green veggies in my food. Not allergic to them, but sensitive to them. I thought it was just lettuce and arugula. Now it's like all of them lol

Well...we had a (semi-rare for May) tornado warning. We were able to get my Mom down to the basement (she uses a walker) and stayed there until the radar was orange and not red. We're back in our apartment now. The system seems to be over now.

My Mom got mad at me when I pointed out that selling an old vinyl for 6.99 would cost me money instead of earning me money. She thinks I would make a $5 profit cause I paid a $1 for it.
Sorry Mom. The shipping along would be more than the sale price

1) I can eat meat and still love animals.
2) The food issues that made me start eating vegetarian/vegan food are also why I am full vegetarian/vegan. Having a mixed diet helps me eat the foods I can have and avoid the ones I can't.

I started incorporating more vegetarian/vegan food into my diet to help my food sensitives/allergies and to have a better diet.
My Mom now tells people I'm vegan.
I still eat meat😆

Found out today that my school is raising tuition by $44 per credit hour for under grads and $48 per credit hour for grads (I'm studying for an MBA). That might not seem like a lot, but when you think about college students struggling to get by, that's a lot😔

For fun I filled out an assessment about immigration Canada yesterday from an agrncy in Windsor. Today I got a call from them offering to set me up a consult with an immigration lawyer. I passed, but told my Mom. She told me to save his contact info!

It took me questioning this as adult and doing research to figure out on my own that I have ADHD/neurodivergent. I felt happy to have answers, but sad because my parents can't seem to accept the truth just yet. Hopefully soon😊

It makes me sad. My parents, especially my Mom, spent over 30 years telling myself and others I was a normal child. Just a lazy, loud, wild, unruly child because she didn't want to deal with a child (especially a girl) that wasn't normal.

I have ADHD and I've known that for years. My Mom claimed I didn't because I can spend hours focused on a task, aka hyperfocused. I got tired of her saying this, so I just proved that hyperfocus is a symptom of ADHD, just less recognized. I think she finally gets it (just might take a year LOL)
