I actually no longer use cycle as transportation if I have to be on any street without a bike lane.

I got yelled at three times on one trip to "get off the road" a few weeks ago -- Ottawa is not safe for cyclists or pedestrians.

I see it as prt of an entitled & car centric social shift.

I just witnessed the aftermath of (yet another) cyclist getting hit by a driver turning right, this time at Elgin and Lisgar. Grateful to all of the helpful witnesses, paramedics, fire and police who rushed to the scene. But this needs to end, we need Vision Zero now.
