What do you think, is he a weird fan or Jared Leto method acting as a weird fan?

That's not Project 2025, that claims to want to increase the population of the US by increasing birth rates. Seriously dodgy stuff itself and might not increase the population if they get their way, given how many programs Project 2025 calls to cut.

This particular project had a lot of obstacles to actually being built & coming online and the negative impacts were going to be pretty bad. In a sense the administration may have screwed up relative to that agenda by cancelling a project that might not have happened anyway.

She's ducking to make sure the point of those TikToks goes right over her head.

Oh, and Alex Berenson. Don't know how I forgot him.

Thanks! And yes, she's into Greenwald and Dore, along with Aaron Maté, Max Blumenthal, and Chris Hedges. I think this account would be a little too abruptly eye-opening, unfortunately.

Is this clip on YouTube or. Somewhere else I can link to? I'd like to share it with a Taibbi fan in my life whom I'm worried would be put off by Post-Left Watch as a concept.

It's hard to show evidence of absence, but summaries from ChatGPT (or other LLM chatbots) aren't it. This happened to not be wrong, but you really can't count on that - generative AI is less credible than just searching yourself and summarizing what you found.

The Free Press participated in this but not as part of the dynamic you're describing; it was founded expressly as an "anti-woke" outlet (in 2021 by Bari Weiss and her wife).

My point is that asking ChatGPT a question like that doesn't make sense. It's not a search tool, it's not looking anything up for you. I'm not saying that the video he's talking about exists, it almost certainly either doesn't or is a fake created with generative AI.
miriparhelion.bsky.social
Why would you think that ChatGPT could answer that kind of question?

I have no desire to valorize him, the St. Luigi stuff was weird, but my god the cameras love that guy. The color of his prison uniform even looks good on him in that photo.

How on earth does he claim that "big government" made it /more/ expensive to support a large family? Unlike some countries, the US doesn't have a cap on how many children in a family are considered when determining how much assistance like food stamps to provide.

His Substack post that it linked to is still up and still contains that reference to Pharisees.

I hope that becomes more widely known, the way that carbon fiber frames are treated as disposable/unrepairable is a depressing problem.
miriparhelion.bsky.social
Wow, I had no idea that repair of carbon fiber frames had advanced this much! Gorgeous paint matching too.

Someone I know grew up in Maine. A moose attacked his school bus. Everyone was fine, the bus didn't tip over, but that didn't feel like a foregone conclusion while the bus was rocking wildly. Moose do usually die when hit by a moving vehicle, what they walk away from is attacking stationary vehicles

Nah, her wife is also right-wing and quite wealthy. I think they're on the same (terrible) page about this.

55...? Did you ask ChatGPT how old Michael Hobbes is?
miriparhelion.bsky.social
Loudly proclaiming that democracy is the problem is his thing, yeah.

A 47-year-old wrote this?!? This is the kind of thing you expect to surface as a horribly embarrassing post someone made on their first blog back when they were in their early twenties.

Labour would be in the running for that but they seem to currently be lacking in sensibleness.

The statistic from that which I found really eye-popping was "[...] 29% of 0- to two-year-old boys being read to every day or nearly every day compared with 44% of girls of the same age."
