A family in my old, very quiet, very small, neighborhood did pizza one year. They teamed up with some houses around them, put on music, and handed out a small slice to everyone who came by. It was great.

Others I have seen: Whole fresh fruits, potatos (a great "joke" that people actually chose over candy), juice cartons, water flavor powder packs, mini trail mix packs, popcorn (popped and unpopped), dehydrated fruits, dry soup mix, dried/tiny cans of sausages, flavored rice pouches, hats/mittens.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 80th day out of the last 92.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.
