I’ve learned no place is easy to get to here unless you’re walking. Luckily, I have a comics shop, a gaming store, and a record store all within easy walking distance of me.

I’ve lived across the bay from it for three months now and still haven’t visited Santa Cruz.

Don’t worry. Vaudeville’s coming back.
Any day now.

Got a turntable. Having to use Bluetooth speakers/earbuds with it, and yes, I know that decreases the audio quality, but gosh darn am I enjoying it! Phantom is as well!
A tortoiseshell cat watches as a colored vinyl record spins on turntable.

I went with the Bluetooth version of this because I don’t want to spend a ton of money (and don’t have a ton of room) for speakers at the moment.

All I'm saying is that it needs more guitar riffs and explosions!

The teenager wants a record player. Can I get some recommendations? Bonus points if it has Bluetooth output.

Did it ever feel to you like MST3K was imparting secret knowledge? Did you ever look at your classmates and say,
"Wait..do all of you seriously not know who Ernest Borgnine is!?"

Listened to this one while driving from South Carolina to California over the summer. Helped to keep me sane but also made me want to run a campaign based off of it.

This is the series that got me started as a wee alt history nerd. Unless Marvel's "What If...?" and DC's "Elseworlds" count.

Finally read the first issue of "Immortal Legend Batman" and, as is probably no surprise to anyone considering the talents behind it, it is freakin' excellent.
Cover to Immortal Legend Batman #1, featured a tokusatsu version of the caped crusader.

Does being the head of a sex cult count as being a member of a church?

Is the 1971 TV Special “Vincent Price Is In The Country” considered lost media? I’ve been trying to locate it all morning for my wife and can’t find it anywhere online.
Vincent Price holding a bunch of kitties and not looking nearly as pleased about it as I would be.

Recommend video essays I can only halfway watch while putting together IKEA furniture.

“Clown in a Cornfield” was nowhere near as scary as the book. Heck, a freakin’ terrifying character from the book was reduced to a bumbling villain sidekick.

We moved to California from a very red state. Now we worry it wasn’t far enough.
