I didn't really see it that way but I get why others did.

But it's all very homogeneous now. That and the schmaltzy, saccharine, Americanised commodification of it now just isn't for me.

'The edge' is rarely there. The European soul and circuits are being slowly marginalised in favour of bling.

I caught some old footage of him the other day actually.

There's quite a few here on Bluesky who remember the older drivers.

I re-watched the Senna documentary the other day and it brought back some memories. Not all great but a great film.

I quite enjoy the spirit of Christmas. Although I'm always kind of relieved to be done with it when it ends.

Plus, it doesn't have the same buzz to it for me personally without certain people who've passed.

It's the relentless, tacky commodification of it that really grates.
