I just noticed that Jimmy And The Pulsating Mass - one of the best indie JRPGs I've ever played - is JUST shy of 500 reviews and the Overwhelmingly Positive rating.

We should make that happen. One of the best Earthbound-inspired games I've played while having its own, very strong identity.

Lots of people think you need religion to have a moral compass. like there isn't a unifying human instinct towards goodness and integrity otherwise. so he kinda made a point many believe in.....

I don't think there's a western RPG with a greater steady fanbase (and obv modding community), it would be a done deal. Maybe poach some of CDPR's writers 😆 the rest is already there.

It's dawning on me that not only has my generation (1970-2000) been singularly lucky in terms of peace & prosperity before the Skynet age, we've also experienced a singular window of opportunity for MMORPGs.
We were the perfect audience with a working attention span. It is basically over now. 😬

lol...I feel for them. The game did not deserve to die the way it did. Flawless launch too, no technical shenanigans.

Someone else should've picked it up and adjusted the disastrous group content and endgame situation. 😑

I always liked LOTRO and I would have played it a lot more if it wasn't so damn hard in so many respects 🙈
And there are many, and I mean many B-level MMOs that get the basics right, just see Asia....Ive no idea what SSG are doing but it feels like we're in the early 2000s.

It's kinda shocking how terrible this company is in 2025. No server stability, the transfers dont work for people according to forums/reddit, no communication.

Now we know why they gave themselves a 2-year window until 2027 😂 And the launcher omg...It shouldn't be this hard to play an MMO.

I am not surprised about the irony that companies went so hard after users downloading content because it was killing creators, only for the biggest mega-corps to take this to a whole new level with AI vacuuming the internet of creative content and dishing out slop.

Briefly checked my blog for my last ever WoW post (from 2021, a brief visit to SL) and yep - this is exactly why I left!! 😂 And I kinda doubt removing combat addons will change as much as some players fear. There's so much system bloat and cheapery.
