Byrne has always had an impeccable sense of the theatrical in putting on a show. I saw his solo show a few years ago, and it beautifully designed and choreographed. Also Jonathan Demme's direction - untricksy, never seeking top outgun the music. One of the best concert films, if not the best.

Desperation. However offensive and unpalatable he is, she sees Jenrick's predator's sense of a trigger issue. I detest him, but she doesn't have his adept use of social media, so for her #PMQs is where she wants to do battle. And she gets crushed nearly every week.

It certainly looks as if there was a lot of performative two fingers in the face of No Kings - the Santos pardon, the infantile AI videos, phone sex with Putin, the ballroom. The ostentatious insolence is the point.
