Truthfully, Eden hadn't spent much time with Brutus. War and molten rock were hardly intertwined, and Eden's lack of socialization didn't help either.

But Cirrus had, and Eden can't even imagine how much pain they're in.

Eden’s hair flowed with magma, the river of red and orange hues hissing as the storm raged on. It hurt, but Eden was no stranger to pain.

Sure, her destructive domain left little room for recovery in the first place, let alone without Brutus’ assistance.

But the world was once hers, and if she must reclaim it, she will. Her planet WILL survive. With or without the others.

Eden surfaced atop a non-active volcano. Its magma has risen more as it shifted beneath the surface, but an eruption was unlikely.
