From the translator: “Drive Your Plow... has lots of odd features that I felt important to retain in English. The title is a quotation from William Blake and, yes, that’s how he spelled the word “plough” in The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell in 1790.”

A bit more reading time when furloughed… 🫤🙃
It’s the rare month when my StoryGraph is actually updated and has more than 3 covers so it doesn’t look so sad! 🤣

The D has been coming up big!
I liked Mansfield but I would have trouble picking one as a favorite. Northanger Abbey is the other one I haven’t read.
First time reading this one. I believe I only have one other Austen novel left unread after this, although I read Sense& Sensibility so long ago I barely remember any of it…

(My new model appreciates your compliments!)
Just started Emma (Jane Austen)!

Glad to hear it went so well—congrats!
I’m a Borges fan and had never heard of this one! 🥰
The cover by R. Kikuo Johnson is worth showing in better detail…
Would love to join you all if that’s an option (not trying to barge in on your discussion).

Like long short story/barely a novella.
One of my favorites and probably one of the shortest of his books!
There are hundreds of really lame covers for this book. I was starting to worry I would have trouble finding a handful worth sharing.
This one is pretty awesome. I often don’t include the Kindle covers but I am not entirely sure why.
