A lot of Ds won't talk to Rs (and vice versa). They've written off anyone in the party. That just creates even more division. We met Rs who don't love Trump, more than we thought. Moderates hiding in the shadows out of fear they'll be ostracized. Talking and embracing are totally different.

We received a cordial reception at yesterday's MoCo GOP convention. We want to tell @bsky.app folks: it wasn't a room full of MAGA hat wearing yahoos screaming invectives about illegal immigrants. Just neighbors who have lived here decades, wanting what they think best. Talk to them, it's not scary.
