The way the npcs in Digimon kept referring to them as "phase electron lifeforms", it would have been funny if they shortened it to "PELs", which is very close to "pals"

This game's definitely high up in the ranks and incredibly made

After all those years waiting, I'd say it was worth it, I'm glad I got to play it and had the resolve to see it through in the end, thanks Team Cherry

Difficulty aside, I really enjoyed the hell out of this game, it's beautiful and it was so fun to explore with all its secrets and all the movement and combat options they give you

They really brought a lot of the best parts of Hollow Knight over and added a ton more, like there's so much to see

One thing I started feeling often in later challenges was that they felt long and drawn out just to wear you down, looking at you Coral Tower

On top of that, enemies started blocking and teleporting more, like I could tell they REALLY wanted you to be patient but it only made me more irritated lol

I thought before that I had beaten the game, but that part felt like the tutorial compared to the final act

Some fights made me so physically tense it was uncomfortable, it makes me realize I'm not really one who enjoys pure challenge in games

Whether that's a skill issue, I don't care

I got a lot to say about this game, but overall it's apparent that 7 years of effort was put into this baby and it was a wild experience

Games need to calm down, there's too many coming out/releasing new stuff lately

Like I'm currently playing Digimon, Pokémon comes out in a few days, Sonic Crossworlds, Overwatch 2, and Marvel Rivals all have new content within a week of each other
