On a second pass on this Resident Evil 7 video and feels like I’m more critical of it than I was of RE6.

This is because Resident Evil 7 is an excellent RE game with a crap final third. If I order a steak and it’s amazing but dessert is lacklustre, that’ll stand out. (RE7) 1/2

Nah - I was so disappointed with it but I feel I’m on an island when it comes to that. I’d have to replay it at least another few times to get footage of the true ending again (a slog), just to talk about a game I don’t like, and invite Ryukishi07 fans to spam me with BS about his bad writing! 😂

#ByeSweetCarole is a damn gem. Don’t sleep on this one horror fans. Gorgeous hand-drawn animation a la The Black Cauldron and Watership Down. A cool mystery. Decent puzzles.

#Peacemaker finale was lovely in a lot of ways and weird in a lot of others.

The reveal of what the DCU is working toward is exciting - but the whole season didn’t feel as cohesive as the first.

I’m loving the game, don’t get me wrong, but it feels like there’s an all-timer buried in here and it doesn’t reach that.

Mainly because it keeps moving the fucking goalpost.

Ghost of Yotei’s world is a dream to explore. It feels reactive and meaningful.

Shame the main story feels like it’s bottled away from all of that. This had the potential to be a GOTY contender if it was more ambitious.
