jurassic park has always been about showcasing strong women and i think jurassic world fails to capture that, even with claire's growth within the film. owen is too much of that perfect man good at everything type character against claire. she's written MUCH better in JW: FK and Dominion.

i dont have many complaints about the JP/JW films cause i appreciate them all. but JW probably gets me the most because of it's writing choices regarding claire. she's great and her arc is great but i cannot stand how the boys view her and act around her and her juxtaposition with owen sucks.

forever will i be of the opinion that the village is the greatest story ever told. a perfect film. people hated on it for not understanding it's not a horror. it's a drama romance and so artistically done and i've been completely smitten with it ever since i was 13 years old. also the ost goes hard.
