On Oct 1, more than 420 people joined us at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre for our annual Multicultural Seniors Day celebration.
Together, we celebrated the wisdom, imagination, and leadership of immigrant seniors, while also recognizing their vital role in strengthening our community.

Our Green Ambassadors Program kicked off their first trip at Alice Lake Provincial Park on Sept 6! It was a day of games, laughter, and new friendships, with youth leading youth and families into BC’s natural beauty.
Green Ambassadors will be leading monthly park trips all season long, stay tuned!

#InternationalYouthDay celebrates energy and imagination of young people. This summer, we saw it every afternoon at our Reading & Art Clubs, where 40+ newcomer kids spent 3 weeks exploring books, creating art, and making friends through library visits and a special first-time trip to Science World.
