We're far enough along to enable the in-game progress tracker, but I fear that accessing it will kill a lot of my motivation to keep hunting for secrets. So for now, we'll keep flying not-quite-blind.

I knew I hadn't Completed™ Hollow Knight by a long shot, but I'm surprised by how many new achievements I've gotten on this playthrough.

I actually thought one of these was a glitch in the achievement system until I opened my old save and found that I don't have a certain item.

pro tip: if you're using handbrake to convert stream recordings of a game that has black bars around it, turn off automatic cropping so your chat bubbles don't get cut off
