It is clear that the police are expecting aggression from the Aston locals aimed at the Israelis and then it will play out as did Amsterdam
No doubt the locals will be bolstered by others from areas known for anti Israeli sentiment making it almost impossible to protect the Maccabi supporters
The police have made it clear that there concern was that there would be incidents similar to the violent anti-Semitic attacks on Maccabi fans in Amsterdam last year
Frankly I am amazed at the lack of effort of Brits to acquire a rudimentary knowledge of the language and would support enforcement of a basic language
However so many countries use English so Brits can get away with it.
