With all the lies and misinformation spread during that time, coupled with the overwhelming anti-science rhetoric; I was not at all surprised when that kind of stuff happened.

My boss at the time was convinced it would be a few months. I had to set him straight.

I understand that laws made to benefit society are fluid and subject to modification, and even rewritten.or repealed.

You've given me some things to think about in this regard. Although, I am not convinced that restricting freedoms is beneficial when done out of fear.

For some reason, logically to me, it seems that if all individuals had more purchasing power over their lifespan (living wages, free healthcare), the rich would not be less rich at all.

I challenged your knowledge of scripture as I was required, until I was 18, to memorize whole chapters of the Bible and recite them. If we messed up, we were beaten...yes, literally beaten.
