What I liked most about this book is the humanization of folks that get labeled quickly. More people need to be exposed to the stories shared in this book. How people look out for one another. Unspoken agreements. Community. The interconnectedness of the projects. Fascinating.

It should alarm you how many people do not vote in 🇺🇸. We are being handed over to the wealthy who do not care about the majority. The non-voting population is only going to rise. It took a global pandemic & protesting of injustice to create the highest % of voters in 2020. Apathy kills democracy.

I’ve learned that, by elites, they mean scientists, highly educated, etc. they don’t mean billionaires. DEI is happening right now for the uneducated, sexual abusers, alcoholics, drug abusers, philanderers. Keep being a piece of shit, you’ll get far. This country loves second chances. 77+ mil idiots

Had a scary intrusive thought yesterday. Trying to thank myself for being able to right myself in the moment & not allow me to act on it. It’s also helpful for me to tell myself to “feel it through.” Allow the thought to go through me instead of letting it consume me. Trying to give myself grave.
