How has a few words from Trump - which suggest it’s Europe to do the heavy lifting of assistance - changed everything suddenly?

We’ve been told for over a year that Ukraine is doing well but slowly losing ground.

And Trump will have changed his mind tomorrow anyway.

The world’s media should laugh when reporting this.

The guy couldn’t even pronounce the name of the drug.

People will die - partly because of what Trump just announced, but mainly because the media reported as fact.

I’m with you on that view - or at least that Starmer isn’t the right man for this time.

A complete lack of leadership in every manner and offering no clear voice against the far-right views that are now mainstream.

They also never had a chance because the media had it in for them from the get go.

If the Deputy forces a reaction from Starmer, bonus points awarded from some policies and a measurable, identifiable etc. approach to what they will deliver (stop saying “change” - it’s gaslighting now) - that will be a win for all.

The frame within a range of subjects and views that becomes acceptable to the public. That frame is being moved to encapsulate views the public previously considered far-right but now are acceptable.
