Tight pressure around a departing Low will generate strong west winds gusting up to 80 km/h -expected to develop Mon. AM in Manitoba & spread eastward through the day in NWONT & the far north. I only plot wind gust potential of 30 knots (~55 k/hr.) and higher.

the next ~ 40hrs. -most of the unsettled weather will move thru NWONT associated with a Low in Manitoba moving NE-Ward. Rainfall/shower activity will also weaken as the Low moves NE into the far north & a weakening front moves across NONT. #onwx #onstorm (8PM this eve.-2PM Tues.)

The latest RAP51 run at 5AM EDT from now till Tuesday 8AM EDT - Radar 4cast (P-type). And yes...that white and blue colouring is snow/wet snow/rain mix in the far northern regions of NONT/NWONT all moving Northward. #onwx #onstorm

Took 3 ensemble runs, (NBM/WPC/SREF) & the CAN RDPs deterministic run-to get an idea of rainfall potential from now till Mon. 8PM -more rain in NWONT/the far north & in NY state (that pesky E. Coast storm). SONT sandwiched in-between both systems with weak ridging #onwx #onstorm

Want to get this out before the pain meds kick in🤪-lol. Latest HRRR48 Cloud + Radar 4cast from now till 2PM Monday (🦃day) Lines are Mid-level HGTS. SONT is "sandwiched" between a Low in NWONT moving NE-ward, and a vigorous East Coast Low also moving NE-ward. #onwx #onstorm

The SFC should clear by later today, but leave cloudy skies for Sunday and another stronger Low moves up the East coast and sends some moisture (clouds) our way for Sunday, some improvement is expected on Monday (🦃 day) with a mix of sun/cloud. #onwx #onstorm
