Pretty sure I'll lose one of the remaining rasbora. Feeling like a shit pet owner for not noticing the probe earlier.

Ugh. The thermostat probe got pulled out of the tank somehow and the water hit 95F. 2 rasbora dead, four missing. The 2 Cory cats seem fine, and the shrimp I see are doing fine, but I'm sure I lost some. I'll probably never know because dark blue shrimp on black gravel with plants are hard to see.

I think my original plan was running emulators for older handhelds and consoles. But I never got around to it because I still have all the older devices in working condition. Because I am a nerrrrrrd.

I have so many ds's and 3ds's. Never got into the modding. Always just stuck to cartridge games, although I did pick up a couple of flash carts in my collection. No idea where to start with them, even though I'm not completely technologically illiterate.

Got the shrimp today instead of Monday. 30 blues, with a variety of sizes/ages. I may need to just pour them in after acclimating. I don't have any net fine enough for the tiniest ones.

Aww shit. The shrimp is ordered aren't going to be here until Monday. I leave early that morning for a week. I guess my best chance is to have the pet sitter bring the box in and just dump them in the tank. I don't know if he's willing or able to take the time to acclimate them.

Josh's Frogs has captive bred jumping spiders in stock. I want to order one so bad, but in one week, I'm going on vacation. Between Cheez-It, the roaches, and the fish, I'm already asking a lot of my pet sitter. Dealing with flightless fruit flies just seems like too much.

Last night I got a hug from one of the LTC residents. Still riding a high from it. She really is such a sweetie when she's not trying to drink the dish soap.

Another resident patted my cheek and called me lovely because I fixed the coffee machine. I do enjoy my shifts in LTC.

Debating whether or not to replace my dead Fire tablet. I really only used it for a small number of games and reading digital comics. I still use a 15 year old Kindle Keyboard for actual ebooks, but no color makes it difficult to read comics.

I'm not saying they're all horrible episodes, but they just fall short. There is a cute Bronx episode, but it really feels like filler.

When you get to s3, think of it as filler. Weisman wasn't involved, and it really shows. Also, if you do go on to read the comics, they pick up at the end of s2. Heisman is writing for those, and a lot of the fandom doesn't consider s3 canon because of the comics.

Named the Cory cats Chungus and Dingus. I don't think Dingus has stopped lapping the tank since I put him in. The dude is just not settling in. Chungus will occasionally join in, but he's more often sifting through the gravel looking for noms. The rasbora are not impressed by their new neighbors.

Picked up a pair of albino Cory cats for the aquarium. I'd hoped for about 6, but the shop only had 2. Hoping they like lurking among the plants and skull and livening up the bottom.

I think i went too cheap on the pedometer I ordered. I KNOW I walked more Sunday, but I had 3k more steps yesterday. So I dug out my old Pokewalkers from HG/SS. I only had a battery for one, but Morris the Leafeon is now keeping me company and counting my steps.
