Saw it with them.
I'd give it an low 8, there were a lot of gripes i had with it, but i gave a lot of it a pass since they'll do a proper act 1 later down the line if it gets green lit.
I do agree with Dave being the weakest part with him being obnoxious rather than aloof like in the webcomic.

It was good, felt rushed but not overwhelming. Glad they didn't shove Karkat in. Replacing parts of the narration with extra dialogue an extra convo with John and Jade was a nice touch. Dave was the worst part. I DO think he swore a bit too much and used to much modern slang. High 7 outta 10
