So I was talking to a good friend today and he described the RuneScape PvM scenes really aptly. OSRS is very technical on its skillset where mistakes are highly punishable. Meanwhile RS3 is very mechanical where there's more fluidity and flexibility but a lot more knowledge and tools is required.

Halfway to Dragon Trophy for #RuneScape Leagues! Still a lot of stuff to do =)

The games have designed things very differently. OSRS has focused on replayability which encourages folks to start new account and re-experience RuneScape again and again with new game modes, account types and Runelite plugins. Meanwhile RS3 has focused on a lot more long term progression content.

It depends. I am personally fine if it has a strong narrative purpose. The Scars of the fifth age have finally let things naturally heal but I'd still like some remnants for history. However visual clarity is important an if we want RS3 to have a long future, we need to have a coherent visual design

Dragonwilds is based on RS3 lore however we don't know exactly where it fits in the time line. But Mod Ramen whose the lead for dragonwilds lore was also a major rs3 lore jmod for several years and posts on here quite frequently. Cant remember his handle atm
