Also I introduced my gf to my mom in-person a couple of years ago, and the moment we got back to the car, gf turned me and goes "you look exactly like your mom."

I spent my entire AMAB life being told by everyone that I look just like my mom.

Since HRT (and living in the same town as my mom), random strangers I have never met stare and me and ask "Are you [my mom's name)'s kid??"

Advice from an artist that's been doing this for nearly 20 years:

Have AT LEAST TWO BACKUPS, and don't rely only on Cloud Storage.

I have a high-end 2TB physical drive I update monthly, and ProtonDrive that I update daily.

Between our cat passing away, the upcoming stuff with Windows 10 end-of-service, Bsky's TOS bullshit, continued puritanical and fascist government problems, etc. etc., yeah I'd say I'm pretty emotionally and mentally worn out today.

I'm gonna do my best, but I've been pretty slow this week atm. 😵
