Since I had to start a new save because of the endless glitches I had caused by installing and removing mods, it's time to start a 4th story with the twins. So hold on to your knickers cause there's already a lot to catch up with in just a month of gameplay.

So this is what Derek's old art studio became... a family room in the basement, full with TV, table tennis, a cards table and a jukebox! Also including a snack bar to have some while watching films.

These used to be Derek's painting studio and Calvin's jewellery store, respectively. Now I'm gonna repurpose them to the basement and do something related to what both are doing this save. One is going to become a science lab for Calvin, but I don't know what to do with the other side.

For the sake of my game loading better and no more having sims thinking for 6 hours after they use the bathroom, I'm bringing them back to this house, but with a twist: I removed an entire floor since they won't be owning a small business this time.

Loaded the game. Went into the house I'm trying to save to the library. House loaded. Clicked the save house button. Game crashed.

It was indeed a folder with required cc for animations I no even longer use.

As much as I would love to say "oh, the creator was unaware", no, he was pretty aware of what he was doing. And I'm sorry but more people might be having the same issue and banging their heads on their tables like I was

Well, it's not. I removed 4 folders: furniture, CAS, poses and WW animations. Issue gone.

So whatever's causing the bug is in one of these 4 folders.

I have 65gb of CAS. No idea where to start...

That's what I'm doing right now. I'm also using mod manager to try and locate any default replacement hidden in there

That’s where I’m looking. Some of them come with a folder of “required cc”. I separate them into two folders, one for animations I’d like to keep and one for animations I haven’t tested yet. I usually stay away from those that require external cc

So the issue I'm having with everything on ground floor being flagged as CC could probably be due to some replacement that happens on ground floor. I've tried removing rain and snow textures replacement but it's not it. My next suspicion is regarding matte replacements.

Once again I’m having that issue that everything on ground level of a house is being flagged as cc, anything on any other floor is not. I thought I had figured that out but it seems I haven’t. Absolutely no clue what could be causing this. It’s a mod for sure. Which one, Cher knows…

Not to be the one complaining about everything, but the autumn kit is beyond disappointing. 8 items for male framed sims, out of which 6 look pretty much like stuff we already have in other packs. And feminine items give men bumps on the chest area... and the purse that deforms the coat?? Girl...

I’ve been thinking about doing this. I built a huge home in a 64x64 lot but my sims seem to be lost in there. Go to toilet on one floor and wash their hands on another, have dinner standing up because they can’t find the table… and the waiting times between actions is really long
