All out against transphobia! On Saturday, November 1, TERFS intend to march in London, demanding trans exclusionary, discriminatory legislation, and threatening trans people on our streets.

We cannot let this happen unchallenged.

We need as many people possible out again on 1st November!

A chicory endive (apparently!) and a red clover from a walk this week #wildflowerHour
A single, pale blue, chicory endive flower and its leaves (beyond the tight focus on the flower) below it. A single red clover - actually more lilac!

#Tyrannosaurus rex was named 120 years ago today (Oct 4, 1905). If you want to know all there is to know about the world's most iconic #dinosaur, the word is that my book "King Tyrant", published a few months back, is a good start. #fossils #paleontology #paleoart press.princeton.edu/books/hardco...
The cover of the book "King Tyrant: a natural history of Tyrannosaurus rex" covered with gleaming review comments and a load of 5 star (or nearly so) ratings. Do you not have a copy yet? You can get them wherever books are sold. I mean, I'm just an alt text caption so my judgment on this anything beyond image description is limited, but I hear Mark worked incredibly hard on this project and thinks it's the best thing he's ever published. He'd be really happy if you bought a copy, and perhaps additional ones for friends and family so you could have very informed conversations about T. rex and all the dinosaur biology it's revealed to us.

From what I've read about Datura, the trip to France was a lot better that the trip Datura would have given you!

Are you safe? Is there someone with you??

As I was taking this pic, an elderly (i.e. even older then me) gentlemen came up, looked at it and said that he's wanted to see one of these all his life!!

The landowners have been made aware, btw

One I really didn't expect to see in the wild in the UK! On a little bit of unloved/waste land, this is Datura stramonium, aka Angel's Trumpet, Thornapple or Jimsonweed; it's quite the hallucinogen. Growing wild behind it were thistles and a tomato plant(!)

Big leaves, spiky seedcases and a flower bud - Quite a surprise!

The open studio exhibition went really well SO I’m glad to announce that I’m going to do another one at the beginning of December and there will be mince pies for those who visit

Just a reminder that there are only 11 days until my pop-up #ArtsPride gallery at throughproudeyes.blogspot.com closes down. Do give my pics a click!

More importantly, fam, let's see your arts - paintings, photos, sculpture, poetry, showing what #LGBT folk bring to society!! #Arts #Pride

Huh. Wonderful(!)

Ours used to be called 'some apple crumble'. One of our neighbours had connections with the names of early Dr Who actors.
