Saw this today and I am absolutely counting it as today’s spooky movie. That was genuinely good fun and I’m glad I went in completely blind.

I'd say this is a great film to take your kids to if you want a gentle introduction to the horror genre.

"Primitive War" is by the same guy who did "Occupation" and "Occupation: Rainfall". Both of those paid too much attention to spectacle rather than plot, characters or dialogue.

This effort is MUCH tighter, with more time spent giving our hapless grunts character development and decent lines.
