My laptop screen was doing a blinky thing that's apparently associated with incompatible apps. It was driving me insane and I spent days on sussing out what it was. It was fucking Copilot. I just had to completely disable Copilot. Stop putting AI in my things I am begging you. 🙃

I've been quiet because life is horrible etc. BUT I went thrifting today and someone had dropped off a number of men's national costume shirts that were a bit yellow and/or stained, so I got this nice custom-made linen pirate shirt that just needs a good soak and a wash. 🥹🫶

IT'S FINISHED! It's wonky & wobbly but I love it. Been washed, needs an iron. I think I'm going to get a round frame

A completed OFMD embroidery showing Stede dangling over the side of the boat. Roach & the Swede are on deck looking exasperated. It's all in long & short stitch with a single thread, apart from Stedes cuffs which are a textured stitch I made up as I went along.

Close up on Stede. His buttons are French knots with metallic thread so really sparkle.
