So I modded my older shader, the one I used for day 7. Wanted to start getting ready to transition into a new blender version. Kept the compositor shenanigans light this time.

Day 8: Solar.

Oh and I used a simple toon shader here. I wanted to remind myself why I used my new one and I got my answer while playing with my lights.

i actually had a idea for this going into it, but sadly the original idea required something I generally couldn't do in the time I had. So I altered it to be a certain kind of reference lol.

Far-outcry from what I did yesterday but I got too many ideas for this. Then the idea I did choose ate my time like a snack. Still was able to get a core part of it done.

Although ironically, this in itself was a experiment too.

I wanted to try a bunch of things this day. I felt that I shouldn't reuse the mech I did for the last three days. So I just used the older construction Mech I've had in the works. I know I could've done more, but I'm out of time today.

Day 3: Carrier

Went with a drone launcher approach instead of a walking land ship. I wanted to do more but again no time sadly. I'm off to bed now 💤

This was Day 2; Mercenary

I didn't know how to fully approach the design in a short amount of time. So I went for a action shot with some mods to the mech I used the day before. I think for a lot of this event, I wanna learn more about the compositor

I got the colours finished, but I'm not loving the shape of the shins. It's bothering me, so I might try again if I have a better idea.

Also the cube there is for scale. This fella is about the size of Early UC a Zaku. Wanted to reflect that in this post.

Took me a bit to get back to this and finish up the rough model. So now I'm just coloring! He unironically looks like a sports care mixed with a industrial vehicle. Like a sports forklift.
