I know it’s just internalized sexism, but when I wear pretty things in professional spaces
(the university lab, or the tech office) I feel embarrassed, like I don’t belong in those space bc how “unserious” l look. 🥲

The most fun I ever had wearing dresses was right after my first shithead bf broke it off with me.
