it’s like a domestic flight; non americans don’t go through passport control for us domestic flights. for both, good to have a passport for id if you’re not from there
i wouldn’t mind the canadian government running ads here, and i expect most liberal Democrats wouldn’t either. but it’s obviously not symmetrical ( US comes off as threatening in Canada and Canada doesn’t and can’t here)

guesses on Mamdani’s best neighborhoods? Cuomo’s ? Sliwa’s? harder in a 3 way race. Sliwa probably southern staten island. Mamdani greenpoint / north williamsburg? Cuomo Riverdale or Forest Hills?
less familiar with metro north, but the lirr often runs 12 car trains even demand doesn’t require and it’s awkward on the stations that can’t handle so might be worth it. metro north seems to run shorter electric trains but i rarely take it rush hour
