Is this year’s election season making you hungry for bolder leadership? 🍩 You should #RunForOffice! Here are 5 things you should consider before starting your leadership journey!

5 things to consider before running for office Identify the issues that you’d like to tackle in your community. By starting small and local, you can map out the change you’d like to enact and determine which office would be most suited to your goals and expertise.

Research the office you’d like to run for. What year are you running in? Is the seat you’re running for a vacant one, or does a tried and true incumbent hold it? These are just some questions to ask yourself as you plan your next steps.

Assemble your team. It takes a community to build a people-powered movement, so who can you rely on to help you get out the word (and vote!) about your campaign? Be sure to build a team you can trust to help you get the job done.
