what you guys make in a year i make in 16-18 months
BotW 3, but it looks more like Ocarina of Time than the other games (everyone cheers)
when this is one of the things I have to put up with 🙄

(Not having my intelligence get challenged every few comments or deal with insults about the way I look in my comments certainly helps too).
I love having my monetization sit in escrow for almost a full month, only for me to not see a dime of what I estimated would normally be $200 once the false claim is settled. /s

Like, I don’t do this for the money, but I also can’t say my decision to back off from being a creator doesn’t feel good—
You’re so real for this (did something happen there? I’ve been especially offline this week for mental health reasons)

i'm not going to chide or scold anyone for only now leaving twitter. your private, unspoken acknowledgment that i'm your intellectual and moral superior is all i need

the wizard of oz is wonderful because of the wonderful things he does? but you won't name any specific thing's he's done that are wonderful? that's pretty convenient (ring of munchkins close tighter around me) i'm being serious, let's interrogate this
Oh God, some of the 10pm start times for games on the West Coast killed me this year. Baseball is what I like to unwind to at 7pm after work, not when I should be going to bed 😞
Steam’s refund policy is so sick, until you buy a game that takes up like 1/4th of your eligible playtime compiling shaders 🙄

That probably shouldn’t count
Oh absolutely. The house-style I use on my channel and its predecessor is a testament to that! If I had to pick four channels that influenced me in general, it’s a varied spread of Wisecrack, Patrick H Willems, Girlfriend Reviews, and Lindsey Ellis!

It’s remarkable to realize Diane Keaton created a signature look and sensibility back in the 1970s and for about half a century continued to be a creative inspiration for how to be yourself in a world that tries so hard to put you in a box. Well done, Diane Keaton. RIP.
I’ve had this thought a million times watching rom coms and mid budget movies from the 60s through the early 2000s. It’s night and day what a little script polishing, the intentional lighting that shooting on film demands, etc can do!

Gonna have to put this one on the list

… depends on the channel 🙈 but I’ll bite!

The gaming channel:
This ad needs to win an award. Loved this and might have to grab one for myself
The new Nicole Kidman AMC bumper is so edited down that it borders on nonsensical and serves no purpose.

That said, there is a silver lining.

We are one step closer to a bumper where it’s just her yelling “movies” like she’s the developer screen on a Sega game.

This was my thought seeing how glowing everyone's been about it. I'm seeing it on Sunday and can't wait to hopefully be proven wrong for having my doubts about it!
PSA to any Adobe Premiere Pro users that want to use Film Impact stuff in videos: Don't export using Media Encoder. It'll force every transition/effect to come up with the Film Impact watermark.
Yeah, I used to use them too. I don't remember why I stopped though

They come and go really often, and I've noticed the one I use (Downie 4) has been a lot more susceptible to failing for the past few months :/
