The Paquetá Panerai

This weekend, despite still working on my motorsports cases, I’m wearing one of my most recent watches- the beautiful blue faces Panerai I bought to celebrate winning the Paquetá case earlier this year.
After 2 weeks of non stop motoracing (cases) it’s really nice to have a day off and go to the football! At QPR for the match against Ipswich- nice lunch, now please can I enjoy a good match and 3 points. That is all I ask…

Interesting few days representing Felipe Massa in court last week. When I get to know great sports stars through my work, I’m full of respect for their skill, dedication and professionalism, and it’s an honour to be trusted with their representation.
10 Lessons from the Paqueta case. For those interested in the case or in sports law more generally I have just published this short article

A final shot from the roll with no. 14 in my medium format film project, the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II - at the photo lab, I wanted to shoot a portrait at f2.8 and really like how it renders.

Saturday night’s dinner.
As I left A&E alive and well on Saturday, I decided to celebrate with some spaghetti & calamari, with mortadella & mozzarella & Prosecco- because life is short & we must enjoy it!

Happy to be alive! After a hectic few months work with no time for photography, and even though I spent Saturday morning in A&E, it’s been wonderful to spend the weekend back in Brighton, camera in hand, soaking up the late October sun and finally taking some photos again!
Leica & iced caffe, July ‘25

A pause in my film SLR camera project: during an early July summer weekend I was using my Leica M10-R - one of my favourite digital cameras - here with the trusty 50mm Summicron f2 in some heavy angled sunlight.

Hakkasan, Mayfair.
A wonderful after court dinner last week with clients & legal team during week 3 of the McLaren v Palou case. The food at Hakkasan was incredible, the wine we had exquisite, the e service perfect, but once again the great company made it so enjoyable.

Omega Speedmaster

Today I’m wearing my original vintage mechanical Omega Speedmaster - one of my favourite watches. The weekend between my two big motorsports cases I thought I’d take this one for a spin again- before it went to the Moon, it was built as a racing chronograph.
