Take a moment to slow down and reconnect with your two headed horsedog.
A flyer taped to a post. It advertises a sound healing session for you and your dog. AI has been used to create an image of people sitting cross legged alongside their canine chums, one of which has two heads. Nice.

Are they refunding people for destroying their property?

A fog has rolled into the valley. I’m worried that this hand print on the scaffolding planks is going to get closer tonight 👀
Fog on a dark night, it is illuminated by a security light. Scaffolding in silhouette in the foreground. A big chimney in the fog in the distance. Wooden planks with a dirty handprint on them. Black & white photograph.

Yup, that’s a mind blowing bit of news to me 🤯 Strange days.

No more putting myself down, I can illustrate/be creative and I will make new work. It’s gonna take some time but I will climb out of this.
A black & white pen and printing ink illustration on white paper of a large Victorian house on a small island surrounded by an estuary. Misty and atmospheric. A figure stands in front of the house. A watercolour, pen and acrylic illustration of a New York corner. Red brick buildings lit by sunlight create strong angular shapes. A man in a white suit crosses a pedestrian crossing. A black pen on white paper illustration of a hotel and the liquor store below it. A sign that reads: HOTEL HARTLAND runs vertically down the building, another sign for WOERNERS CIGARS and LIQUORS below it. The hotel is in deep shadow, a man hails a taxi. Across the road a row of shops in bright white sunlight. A brown ink drawing of Tove Jansson. She has red flowers in her hair, she holds a paint palette and brushes, a canvas with a painting of a sleeping Moomintroll in front of her. Tove wears a striped shirt, belt and skirt, she is smiling, happy and friendly.

It’s autumnal, it’s getting darker in the evenings, that scratching sound up in your attic is back. Don’t worry, cheer up by treating yourself with a Woman in Black signed giclee print or two. £75 (free UK P&P). Visit nicktankard.co.uk & email me at [email protected] to place your order.
A black and white illustration, rolled printing ink and cross hatched black fine line pen of a man on a bicycle. The man is wearing a flat cap, a jacket with shirt & tie, he has a satchel over his shoulder. The bicycle is an old fashioned delivery bike with a wicker basket on the front and a lamp. The man is standing still in a quiet country lane, a flat featureless landscape surrounding him. He looks back behind him at a dark foreboding sky, bright sunlight ahead of him creates strong shadows of his bike on the road. The man is full of anxiety but he is cycling towards the light, away from his troubles. The same illustration as previously described with details about it in a black band on top.

Details:

'Mr Jerome is Afraid'
Signed Giclee print
Somerset Velvet 330gsm paper
Image size 21 x 30 cm / Paper size 29 x 38 cm
£75 (free UK P&P)

Listening to this album by @petergregsonmusic.bsky.social a lot at the moment. He supported Agnes Obel at the recent concert at The Royal Albert Hall. We could only make out the top of his head from where we were sat so instead of watching I just listened & stared at the beautiful ceiling. Dreamy 👍🏻
A CD copy of an album by Peter Gregson. It shows the artist against a pale green background and red camera flare against his dark jacket. The ceiling of The Royal Albert Hall. Large white mushroom type shaped acoustic diffusers.

Cheers, Tara. I’m being a miserable git and it doesn’t suit me. You just have to make things happen, it doesn’t fall into our laps, does it? Giving myself a light kick up the backside!

Thank you 🙏🏻🌞

Yep, that is Eel Marsh House from The Woman in Black.

I’m too chicken to use a chainsaw unfortunately, I’d be worried about losing some digits. I’ll stick with a fine liner pen! 🤣 Cheers, Tamsin 👍🏻

Yup, I think it’s mental health stuff for me too connected with my mums illness and recent death. I’m trying to take it easy on myself but also…I need to make a living.

The book sounds interesting and I’m happy to hear you’re back on with it. Cheers, Nancy 👍🏻🌞

We have scaffolding up at the moment to paint our window frames.

It looks like something visited in the night 👀😬
Planks of wood and scaffolding. A dark hand print on one of the planks.
