Old picture. I don't know who did it. I've found it from Twitter in the beginning of 2022. Somebody replied to Zaynep Tufekci with this picture and then either deactivated the account or got suspended.

"For instance, investor faith in the AI boom was rattled in August when the Massachusetts Institute of Technology published research showing that 95% of organisations are getting zero return from their investments in generative AI pilots"

Zero return on investment is good, right?

In an endemic, there needs to be a certain part of the population most likely to catch the disease so that others can be saved and live for longer. That's the role of the anti-vaxx.

Keir Starmer launched AI Growth Zones in January 2025.
In June 2025, Keir Starmer's government published a paper Industrial Strategy Zones Action Plan, that will merge the Tories' 12 Freeports and 74 SEZs into Industrial Strategy Zones, along with +200 AI Growth Zones.

Soaring energy bills for local residents who get to subsidize the infrastructure while tech giants get 10 year tax breaks.
And property values plummeting by 5-15% as once-peaceful communities are transformed into industrial zones.

If you don't know yet, this is what Zone Fever looks like.

Over 200 local authorities across the UK have submitted bids to become “AI Growth Zones”, a designation that strips away planning protections, bypasses environmental safeguards, and fast-tracks massive data centers into communities that never asked for them.

Peter Thiel wrote this in 2014, and it's safe to say that both tech and venture capital have adopted this approach and gone on to merge with the cult known as MAGA.

“In the most intense kind of organization, members abandon the outside world and hang out only with other members. We have a word for such organizations: cults. Cultures of total dedication look crazy from the outside. But entrepreneurs should take cultures of extreme dedication seriously.”
You Should Run Your Startup Like a Cult. Here's How
No company has a culture; every company is a culture. A startup is a team of people on a mission, and a good culture is just what that looks like on the inside. The first team that I built has become ...

It is extremely unwise to ignore the fact that a digital panopticon is being erected around us.
This is a key component of a new form of authoritarian capitalism known as Surveillance Capitalism.

The window for resistance is closing, but it hasn’t closed. Every zone operates on public subsidy and political permission. Both can be revoked. Organize. Challenge. Resist.

Dear Blueskyer's, am I wasting my time informing you of seismic changes to the entire critical infrastructure of the UK post-Brexit? Changes wrought by the Tories, by Labour, and with Reform UK's full backing.
BlackRock's own former ESG chief called it a "dangerous placebo that harms the public interest".
Blackrock is embarking on what it calls its Infrastructure Imperative. This represents a serious incursion into the public sector, it is wholly dependent on UK public services collapse.

The Great Unmasking has an effect on taming and damaging the population at large. The unmasked are doing a disservice to rebellion. Pathogens can disable entire communities, it has been that way always.
