Work's been absolutely brutal for the last month or so. I've been getting run ragged, and I've really been at the end of my rope.

But yeah, on one hand she’s a Warhawk and a brute, on the other, it’s interesting and important to see a character be as brutal and unrepentant as their enemies have been.

A lot of the Horde's actions get glossed over. It's nice someone's like "These maniacs are going to destroy our homes and kill us if we don't kill them first."

That's a lived experience for a LOT of everyday Alliance folks. It's a needed perspective, and the alliance needs that edge.

My feelings for Rogers are mixed. On one hand, yes, she's a warhawk.

On the other, it's nice that SOMEONE in Alliance High Command is pissed about shit like Southshore, and uses that as motivation.

The choices were:

1. A guy who knew nothing about the flight, and had spent his entire life as a Highmountain advisor

2. A guy who had no experience with his kin beyond killing them, but at least tried to fill the flight’s duty on Azeroth.

3. The guy who had actually been leading the flight.

I’ll be honest I’m not deep in comics so I’m not clear on the setup either. Gunn’s earned some trust imo, I’m mostly just anxious to see where things go and knowing how long the wait can be makes cliffhangers feel eh.

Adebayo’s speech to Chris was so good though. Right to the core of his character.
