Really a perfect evening for a walk. Cool but not too cool, colorful leaves still mostly in the trees with a slight breeze to rustle those that have fallen. There’s an essence of quiet though it’s not silent.

It is hard to deny the feeling that we were meant to know one another. And to know one another would only, could only, lead to love. Though the universe has a sense of humor and has also thrown several barriers our way. They could serve to simply annoy or to perhaps add meaning to the experience.

The world is diminished by the bitter hearted, they’ve nothing to offer so they instead aim to make everyone else as miserable as they are. But even if they accomplish this, there is no satisfaction. What they think they want and what they truly want are separate.

Two rivers flow, each carving a path in the same direction. Sometimes close, and sometimes far. Yet every now and again, the currents meet in a glorious collision. At these junctions, the source of a drop of water cannot be distinguished and one has to ask if there were ever two rivers at all.
