Right? They’re like a whole sociological study unfolding before our eyes. I think doing the relatively same job for a long time but with a rotating “cast of characters” so to speak gives teachers a unique insight into the ebbs and flows of social trends.

Not sure. The “lifestyle changes” they write are a mix of gym/work out culture & diet and seem to have happened 3-5 years ago, which I think was before the current influx of weight loss meds. Maybe it’s connected to pandemic lockdown lethargy and/or increased social media use in middle school?

For some reason it never really hit me until right now that IF Tay is in the possibly-never-happening live action Tangled movie, he’d be part of the Disney family forever AND that would connect him to one of my Broadway boyfriends Jeremy Jordan who voiced a character in the Tangled cartoon series 🥹💖

As a Disnerd, Tay + anything Disney makes me very very happy 🥰 I love seeing him being a tourist and having fun with his fam. I’m pretty sure I took pix in this exact spot (outside the Indiana Jones ride) when I first visited Disneyland Paris in 2016. Thanks for feeding us, Maria!

I first listened to it in February this year, then again in early June, then again in late July

I would’ve read it earlier if I could’ve found a hard copy. It was only in Feb that I started listening to romance audiobooks and thankfully my library had the whole GC series and the rest is history.

I just got the HR audiobook from the library so I could listen to it AGAIN before the series comes out — 4th time since February 🫣 I relistened to it when the filming announcement was made. I’m 100% the girl that falls for the hype.

I just signed legislation requiring student ID cards in public middle schools, high schools, and colleges to include the Trevor Project’s crisis and suicide prevention hotline.

Interesting trends I’ve noticed in my students’ college essays this year: boys writing about their body image (specifically weight loss) or reselling clothes

Not sure what to make of it, just new topics that I’ve read about several times this year but hadn’t seen much (if ever) in previous years

BUT overall they looked pretty competitive and my hottie scored a goal and I looked cute and got lots of compliments on my shirt and now I can go home and FINALLY dissect the HR trailer and drool over fake hockey players who don’t let je down

UGH MY TEAM IS KILLING ME AND IT’S ONLY ONE GAME INTO THE SEASON 😭😭 Less than 2 minutes from beating their rival in regulation with an easy chance to put it away & they ended up losing in OT on probably the stupidest goalie error I’ve ever seen #VGKvsSJS #Sharks #GoSharksGo <— is that a thing?

THAT WAS TORTURE

The HR trailer dropped literally as we were loading the buses for our field trip & then I was surrounded by students & chaperones for SIX+ HOURS & I was DYYYING

But now I’ve seen it & it’s incredible & I NEED to squee with y’all but I’m heading to a REAL hockey game so I’ll TTYL 🫶🏻
